If you want an app like Keepsafe, first decide whether you want another traditional photo vault, a built-in phone container, or an encrypted cloud drive. These five options resemble different parts of Keepsafe rather than acting as identical replacements.

Proton Drive is an alternative for users whose main requirement is encrypted cloud backup and access across devices. Its listing says files and photos are end-to-end encrypted, includes 5 GB free, and supports original-quality automatic photo backup.

It requires a Proton Account and lacks several classic vault behaviors. Choose it for encrypted cloud storage, not for a disguised or decoy gallery.

Samsung Secure Folder

Secure Folder is built into supported Galaxy devices and can hold photos, files, and apps behind its own lock. Samsung documents optional enhanced encryption and transfer to a new Galaxy with Smart Switch.

It is not an iPhone option. Samsung also says creating new Secure Folder backups is no longer supported, so migration depends on Smart Switch or temporary device-transfer features rather than a conventional ongoing vault backup.
