Safety Photo+Video ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our zero-knowledge encrypted photo and video backup service.
Our service is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. We use Zero-Knowledge Encryption, which means your content is encrypted on your device using keys derived from your Encryption Password — a password we never see or store.
2. Information We Cannot Access
Due to our Zero-Knowledge architecture, the following data is technically inaccessible to us:
- Your Photos and Videos — All media is encrypted before upload
- Your Encryption Password — Never transmitted to our servers
- Your Private Keys — Generated and stored only on your device
- File Names and Metadata — Encrypted alongside your media
3. Information We Do Collect
To provide our service, we collect minimal operational data:
- Account Information — Email address for account recovery and notifications
- Usage Analytics — Anonymous, aggregated data about app performance
- Storage Metrics — Total encrypted storage used (not content)
- Device Information — Basic device type for compatibility
