1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Safety Photo+Video ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, and premium subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Safety Photo+Video provides a zero-knowledge encrypted cloud backup service for photos and videos. Our service allows you to:

• Securely back up photos and videos with end-to-end encryption
• Access your encrypted content across multiple devices
• Manage and organize your media library
• Share encrypted content with others (where applicable)

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and Encryption Password. We strongly recommend:

• Using a strong, unique Encryption Password
• Storing your Encryption Password in a secure password manager
• Never sharing your Encryption Password with anyone
• Keeping a physical backup of your Encryption Password

3.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to store, transmit, or share content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Exploits minors in any way

4. Subscription and Payment

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees for your selected plan
• Provide accurate billing information
• Accept automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date

5. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your photos, videos, or other content.

Due to our Zero-Knowledge Encryption design, we cannot access, view, or analyze your content. This means we cannot moderate content or respond to third-party requests for your data — because we technically cannot access it.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for:

• Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
• Emergency security updates
• Infrastructure upgrades
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Safety Photo+Video shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data due to forgotten Encryption Password
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the fees paid in the prior 12 months

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination:

• Your subscription will not renew
• You will retain access until the end of your billing period
• Your encrypted data will be deleted within 30 days of account closure

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
